Digital Pre-Press
As you would expect, Leach Colour's pre-press department is as up to date as the rest of its operation. It boasts a suite of Apple Macintosh computers running the latest versions of all industry standard software including Quark, Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop etc and operates 3 high resolution scanners.

Digital Print
Its production unit is also equipped to the highest standard and has at its disposal a variety of hardware enabling it to offer the best production options for each project.
- Lamda - Digital photographic printing for pin-sharp results on paper up to 1.3m wide
- Vutek - UV inkjet direct to media printing on rigid substrates up to 3.2m wide and 40mm thick
- Rho - UV inkjet printing onto a wide variety of roll substrates up to 3.5m wide
- Mimaki - Solvent inkjet printing onto a wide variety of roll substrates up to 2.5m wide, suitable for exterior use.
Screen printing
Short and medium run spot colour work (including metallic and fluorescent colours) onto almost any substrate.
Finishing
Routers, cutters and trimmers to fashion the most complex shapes and constructions.
Lamination
In a variety of textures and finishes.
FTP Site
If you are a broadband user you can upload and down load files from our ftp site. In order to use this service please:
1. Ensure you have the relevant software to be able to access an ftp site. If you do not already have this then follow the instructions below.
2. Contact Ralph on 01484 552 229 to inform us of your chosen username and password and we will set up a folder on our ftp site.
3. We will inform you of the address of our ftp site and confirm your username and password.
4. Using your ftp software, simply log onto our ftp site and upload your files into your own private folder and send an email to ralph@leachcolour.com with your order details.
FTP Set-Up Instructions
PC Users
- Click here to download free ftp client software and save to your desktop
- Note that 2 files are required (Wanderer.exe and sites.xml)
- The above download is a zip file. If you do not have Winzip click here to download Winzip
- Unzip or extract both files to your desktop
- Click on the Wanderer folder... then the Wanderer icon
- If you have a firewall then make sure that it is set to allow ftp traffic
