The original Svenska Aeroplan Aktie(B)olaget was established in 1937 with the express purpose of building aircraft for the Swedish Air Force. In 1950, as demand for military aircraft declined, the company produced its first automobile, the distinctive Saab 92. Now under the ownership of General Motors, the marque remains strong and the company has a flourishing nationwide dealer network.
It was for their showrooms that Saab needed a graphic decoration that could be applied to internal office windows and still allow the occupants to see out. The window treatments needed to be of the highest quality and having seen and rejected traditional one-way window graphics the search eventually led them to us. When we produced a sample of Saab artwork onto HIDE our one-way vision graphic film we quickly convinced them that the search was over. We were given full roll-out instructions and every Saab showroom in the UK was benefiting from the new graphics.
